The Night Before....

.......we, the citizens, of this great country of ours elect a new leader. May good judgement be with each of us in the voting booth!!

I hear this is national blogging week/month....one of the two....anyway, in celebrating the "art" of blogging; I understand we are suppose to blog everyday. Not sure that will happen here but will get something out there. And request and encourage other family member to post on Branches-and-Twigs an update of what is happening in their daily life's.

My daughter in law, Sonja, is the one that introduced me to blogging and she does such a great job of blogging.

If any of you are fans of Nas-Car racing, then you probably know it is a BIG thing. Well this past week-end was NAS-CAR races at Texas Motor Speedway. Not that I am into it by any means......we went the first couple of years after they built the speedway, so at least I can say...been there, done that....however, our daughter and son in law (Susan and Bill) are big fans. They are one of those that take the camping trailer out to the speedway a couple of days before the big race and stay a day after (just to avoid the traffic), and believe me there is lots of traffic! Preston and Becka had tickets for this year's race so we got to babysit Bo Saturday afternoon until Sunday night. I had been missing the little sweetie since we are not babysitting him full time any longer. Now, I get to be just his "Granny"......whose job it is to over love him and send him home!

Plus Brantley was here for the week-end. And Jennifer came for a visit, so we got to enjoy being with a couple of the grand kids and the great one. So we enjoyed a grandparents week-end. Then today Jennifer came over and we worked on another masterpiece for our `Garage Art Gallery'. I will try to get a picture of our gallery on the blog soon for all to "admire".

And as usual, the two of us (Jennifer and I) are up to doing the things we enjoy.
